I was born in 1974 in Berlin, Germany and began playing piano at the age of five. After studying classical piano and more than 1,500 performances on stage in orchestras, in bands, or just solo, I moved to the Big Island of Hawai’i in 2008 and became a piano teacher and piano technician.
I received further training as a piano technician from excellent mentors in California and Oregon.
In 2014, I joined the American Piano Technicians Guild (PTG), passed my exams in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2017, and became a Registered (licensed) Piano Technician, an RPT.
